Air Traffic Control Radar System Installation and Activation Manager - MID Level (Radar Systems)

Location: United States; remote work environment with up to 30% travel

Salary: $104,000–$118,560 annually

What you will do

• Support planning and coordination of radar installation and activation programs across National Airspace System environments.
• Coordinate site surveys, implementation planning, installation, optimization, and system acceptance activities.
• Assist with schedules, resource coordination, site readiness meetings, and project stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate installation teams, engineering technicians, activation specialists, vendors, suppliers, and field resources.
• Monitor milestone progress, installation performance data, quality requirements, and compliance with federal aviation system standards.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, project management, or field services.
• At least three years of experience with radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, and antenna performance for primary and secondary radar systems.
• Experience installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting radar systems and knowledge of radar installation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project, and Outlook, with strong communication, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• PMP, CAPM, Professional Engineer, or relevant industry certification.
• Experience with project management tools and installation technologies used in radar deployments.
• Military radar system experience within the U.S. Armed Forces.
