Quality Coordinator-12hr Rotating Swing Shifts (Am/Pm) (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Forest Park, Georgia, USA; 12-hour rotating swing shifts from 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am, with overtime and schedule changes as needed.

Hourly rate: $37.34

What you will do

• Monitor finished products and manufacturing processes for compliance with specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Conduct periodic quality checks, daily operational audits, raw material inspections, and AQL testing.
• Launch and manage Quality Incident Reports, support root cause analysis, and escalate out-of-specification issues.
• Manage product holds, retain samples, rework plans, quality hold areas, and related documentation.
• Support line changeovers, clearances, trials, qualifications, startups, and shutdowns to verify quality standards.
• Coach operations associates, maintain quality instruments, and support supplier quality notifications and new procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of plant quality monitoring, daily audits, Quality Incident Reports, and raw material inspections.
• Experience with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with effective time and priority management.
• Availability for onsite 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, weekend work, schedule changes, and required training travel.

Nice to have

• 5 or more years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 1 year of quality assurance experience.
• Associate or technical degree in data analytics, science, quality management, or a comparable field.
• Experience championing Quality System Elements and quality management systems.
