Interior Removal and Install Technician - 2 (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Remove, install, fabricate, trim, re-carpet, soundproof, and wrap aircraft interior components.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, terminate, and test avionics wiring harnesses for aircraft modifications.
• Perform continuity, power, ground, and post-installation operational checks using engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Inspect aircraft, interiors, equipment, maintenance work, records, and flight logs for defects, prescribed service intervals, airworthiness, and compliance with FAA standards.
• Coordinate with other departments and complete internal and external FAA paperwork, sign-offs, inspection reports, and certification records.
• Approve or deny certificates of airworthiness and verify adherence to repair station procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in aircraft interior removal and installation, or demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform the required tasks.
• Prior aviation experience, a shadowed toolbox, and a tool inventory list.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check, pre-employment drug test, and ongoing random testing under the Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, inspect equipment, communicate clearly in English, work variable shifts including weekends and holidays, and lift or move objects up to 75 pounds.

Nice to have

• Aerospace or aeronautics experience.
