A&P Mechanic III (Deploy Only) (Aerospace)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; deploy-only role requiring extended OCONUS assignments on an approximate 60-days-on/30-days-off rotation. No relocation is needed. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret U.S. Government security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Lead scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance projects.
• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on aircraft airframes and engines.
• Mentor and guide junior mechanics.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain efficient workflows.
• Promote safety protocols and apply current aviation maintenance practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience; a higher-level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior FAA violations.
• Advanced aircraft repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to deploy to various OCONUS operating locations and meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements.
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules, including a 60/30 deployment rotation.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret U.S. Government security clearance are required. Candidates without a current clearance may be processed for one before employment begins.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with specific aircraft models, FAA repair stations, or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
• Background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
