Assistant Leading Hand (Machine Operations)

Location: Brickwood, NSW, Australia. Onsite, full-time, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:00, with weekend availability required.

What you will do

• Assign and coordinate tasks for the shift production team.
• Operate packaging machinery and ensure efficient production of conforming products.
• Conduct product testing and adjust machine processes when required.
• Troubleshoot production issues and make minor machine adjustments using small hand tools.
• Ensure production activities comply with WHS, food safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous machine operation experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify root causes and resolve production problems.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, process improvement, and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of HACCP and GMP.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; reliable and punctual.
• Current NSW forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.

Nice to have

• Blow moulding experience.
