What you will do

• Design land development, site civil, and public works infrastructure projects from inception through construction support.
• Prepare and edit engineering specifications and project documentation.
• Support planning, permitting, design development, and construction efforts for public- and private-sector clients across Florida.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Travel during work hours using a company or personal vehicle for business-related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least two years of experience in civil or site development, preferably in Florida.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain it within two years, plus EIT certification or ability to obtain it within one year.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and editing specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice to have

• Experience training, mentoring, or leading others.
• GIS experience and familiarity with permitting processes and municipal codes.
• Knowledge of sustainable site design and low-impact development practices.
• Experience with subdivision design, commercial site planning, and public infrastructure.
