Civil Engineer (EIT)

Location: Lakewood, Colorado, United States; on-site visits are required as needed.

Salary: USD $75,816–$80,000 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Contribute to studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Support planning, modeling, and design for site plans, hydraulics and hydrology, drainage, stormwater, water and sewer utilities, roadways, and related infrastructure.
• Assist senior staff with project plans, schedules, budgets, technical memorandums, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support construction management through material submittal reviews, requests for information, site visits, inspections, and contractor coordination.
• Conduct surveys and collect, compile, and assess infrastructure project data.
• Build effective working relationships with employees, clients, contractors, and public agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in municipal, state, or land development engineering.
• Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with computer-assisted engineering and design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an organized, dependable, accountable, and proactive approach.
• Physical ability to conduct on-site visits as needed.
