LIHTC Leasing Consultant (53001)

Location: Tracy, California, USA; onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Salary: $20–$22 per hour

What you will do

• Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours.
• Promote available units and amenities through online platforms, signage, and outreach.
• Explain lease terms, application requirements, pricing, community policies, and lease provisions.
• Process applications, recertifications, renewals, resident files, reports, and waitlists.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager and maintenance team to support quality work and resident satisfaction.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and resolve resident issues proactively.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules.
• Required: knowledge of Yardi property management software.
• Knowledge of state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
