Senior Principal Engineering Program Manager (Semiconductor)

Salary: $136,200–$178,815 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex semiconductor technology and product development programs from concept through qualification, manufacturing ramp, and high-volume production.
• Own program scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, milestones, governance, readiness reviews, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate Engineering, Product Management, Technology Development, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and customer-facing teams.
• Identify technical, operational, schedule, and resource risks and lead mitigation, contingency planning, escalation, and issue resolution.
• Drive product qualification, validation, manufacturing readiness, yield, reliability, quality, cost, and product introduction objectives.
• Build dashboards and metrics, communicate program status and recommendations to executives, and improve program management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, physics, semiconductor engineering, engineering management, or a related technical discipline, with at least 8 years of related experience; alternatively, 6 years with a master’s degree, 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success with New Product Introduction, New Technology Introduction, technology readiness, product qualification, and commercialization.
• Knowledge of development lifecycles, manufacturing operations, qualification methodologies, yield improvement, and reliability processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing technical and business decisions without direct authority.
• Expertise in program planning, execution, risk and dependency management, resource planning, schedule development, and executive communication.
• Working knowledge of Design of Experiments, Failure Analysis, structured problem-solving, and program management tools such as Microsoft Project.
