A&D Product Program Manager (FPGA)

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Salary: $159,700–$231,000 USD annually for the Bay Area, with additional performance-based incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product program execution for FPGA and platform offerings serving aerospace and defense customers.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and field applications.
• Build and manage integrated plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and change control.
• Coordinate new product introductions, product revisions, and sustaining engineering across silicon, software, tools, and documentation.
• Align execution with customer roadmaps, market requirements, revenue goals, and long-term lifecycle support.
• Lead executive reviews and support customer engagements, escalations, and strategic program commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex hardware and software programs as a Product Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in an equivalent role.
• Experience delivering semiconductor, FPGA, ASIC, SoC, or embedded system products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations and working with aerospace and defense customers or regulated programs.
• Strong knowledge of product development lifecycles, schedule management, risk mitigation, and executive communication.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA-based platforms, design flows, or programmable logic ecosystems.
• Familiarity with DO-254, MIL-STD, AS9100, ITAR/EAR, or similar aerospace and defense standards.
• Experience supporting 10–20+ year product lifecycles, government programs, prime contractors, or Tier-1 aerospace and defense customers.
• MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing globally distributed engineering and operations teams.
