Senior Project Development Manager (Solar Energy)

Location: Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Manage renewable energy project development from greenfield stage through operation, initially focusing on projects in the Philippines.
• Control budgets, milestones, schedules, deliverables, and existing development contracts.
• Review PPAs, interconnection agreements, land leases, joint venture agreements, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, finance, accounting, and legal teams on feasibility analysis, debt financing, and tax equity financing.
• Engage local communities and manage contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Secure permits, manage due diligence, and ensure environmental compliance throughout development, construction, and operation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the local renewable energy industry.
• Project management experience in large-scale solar or similar projects.
• Understanding of large-scale renewable energy project structures and experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong contracts management, problem-solving, presentation, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexibly with stakeholders from different cultures and with minimal supervision.
