Commercial Project Manager / Project Controller (f/m/d) for Germany (SAP)

What you will do

• Lead the commercial execution of a portfolio of complex real estate construction projects.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost recognition, project accounting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare investment approvals, business cases, profitability analyses, and discounted cash flow models.
• Establish financial project structures in SAP, including Work Breakdown Structures, and align them with approved budgets and schedules.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and compliance with IFRS and Local GAAP throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present financial performance, explain cost deviations, and provide recommendations to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Longstanding professional experience in Finance, Controlling, or Project Finance, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or capital investment projects.
• Experience with CAPEX projects, annual budgets, forecasting, free cash flow, depreciation, and complex project portfolios.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP, including PP&E and CAPEX accounting.
• Strong SAP expertise, ideally across PS, CO, and FI modules.
• Business-fluent English communication skills.
