Technology Engineer (Automation & Robotics)

TL;DR

Technology Engineer (Automation & Robotics): Ensuring functionality and development of production lines with an accent on automated winding processes and robotic workstations. Focus on diagnosing technical failures, optimizing PLC systems (Rockwell, Siemens), and implementing technical improvements to increase productivity.

Location: Brno, Czechia (Onsite with possibility to work from home 1x per week)

What you will do

• Maintain and optimize production lines in the winding area and associated automated processes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical failures in production equipment in collaboration with maintenance teams.
• Manage and develop hirify.global robotic workstations, including linear track systems and soldering technologies.
• Support and modify PLC systems using Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting manuals.
• Propose and implement technical improvements to enhance reliability and quality.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics preferred).
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and programming principles.
• Proficiency in English and Czech languages.
• Technical mindset and willingness to learn automation and robotics.
• Must be based in or be able to work in Brno, Czechia.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLC diagnostics or programming.
• Prior knowledge of hirify.global robots.
• Experience working in a production or automation environment.
