Field Service Engineers North (Recycling Technology)

Location: Victoria St, Manchester, UK; field-based across the North West and North East of the UK

Salary: GBP 35,000–GBP 40,000 yearly

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites.
• Support the rollout of new recycling machines across the UK.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues through preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Build relationships with customers and site contacts while providing professional technical service.
• Travel throughout the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays, and record service activities in digital systems.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures and contribute to continuous technical improvement.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and clear customer-focused communication.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel and manage a schedule in a field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence.
