Service Engineer (Derby Area)

Location: UK homebased, covering the Derby Area and DE postcodes. Field-based work with travel across the designated region.

Salary: £44,984.22 per year plus monthly bonus.

What you will do

• Service, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial heating appliances to manufacturer and industry standards.
• Diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Commission new installations and optimise appliance performance and efficiency.
• Complete work in line with Gas Safe regulations, health and safety policies, and service level agreements.
• Manage the daily schedule, provide technical advice to customers, installers, and contractors, and complete digital job reports.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and equipment while representing the brand professionally.

Requirements

• ACS Gas qualifications, such as CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, or equivalent, are essential.
• Experience servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the designated region.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements and Gas Safe regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads, communicate effectively, and use digital job management systems.
