Project Development Manager (Solar Energy)

What you will do

• Manage solar, solar-plus-storage, and energy storage projects from greenfield development through operation.
• Own budgets, milestones, schedules, deliverables, development contracts, and due diligence processes.
• Review and negotiate PPAs, interconnection agreements, land leases, joint venture agreements, and related project contracts.
• Coordinate Engineering, Project, Finance, Accounting, and Legal functions, including financial feasibility, debt financing, and tax equity processes.
• Manage contractors, vendors, consultants, and local community engagement to maintain timelines and optimize project value.
• Secure land rights, permits, and environmental compliance throughout development, construction, and operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Project management experience in large-scale solar or comparable renewable energy projects.
• Understanding of large-scale renewable energy project structures and experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or comparable software.
• Contract management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in securing land and project permits.
• Basic understanding of land documentation in the Philippines, including land rights acquisition and preliminary land due diligence.
