Project Manager (Energy)

Location: Hybrid in Essen, Germany. Workation possible for up to 20 days within the European Economic Area.

What you will do

• Analyze complex energy sector issues and develop strategic and operational solutions.
• Lead important Group projects and international teams to achieve excellent results and customer satisfaction.
• Manage content quality and ensure key milestones are reached in customer projects.
• Take on management responsibility, lead and mentor international teams, and support their development through feedback and coaching.
• Structure and design presentations, and present results to E.ON Group senior management and directors.
• Contribute to ECON's further development through internal tasks like marketing, recruiting, and training.

Requirements

• Top-grade master's degree (additional qualifications like doctorate or MBA are welcome).
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience at a leading top management consulting firm, with an interest in energy sector topics.
• Outstanding analytical competence coupled with strong process and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, prepared to take risks, and a talent for creative and innovative thinking.
• Ability to inspire customers through superior conduct and target-oriented communication, and motivate teams to become top performers.
