Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Place - Per Diem

Location: 603 S Chestnut St, Ellensburg, WA 98926, USA

Compensation: USD 44.70–79.60 per hour. Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials apply; an additional 15% premium may be available in lieu of benefits.

What you will do

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise professional and ancillary personnel.
• Assess patient and family education needs to support health maintenance or recovery after discharge.
• Coordinate nursing and medical plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Float to other hospital departments when patient needs require it.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification and professional commitment to quality care, leadership, and ongoing development.
• NRP certification within six months of hire, with ongoing maintenance.
• ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, with ongoing maintenance.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Intermediate Course or higher within six months of hire, renewed every two years, or the AWHONN course plus C-EFM certification maintained every three years.
• Per diem staff must work at least 48 hours over a rolling three-scheduling-period under the WSNA contract.

Nice to have

• STABLE certification.
• One year of obstetrics experience.
