Fabricator (2nd Shift)

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.30–$31.97 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential

What you will do

• Operate press brakes and other manual fabrication equipment to manufacture parts from production drawings and work orders.
• Bend, seat, flange, and top-flange materials while meeting safety, quality, efficiency, and lean production goals.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other equipment.
• Communicate production issues and improvement opportunities to department leadership.
• Package, label, palletize, gather, and stage finished products while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Learn and operate additional equipment such as shears, welders, punch presses, paint systems, and CNC machines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and understand production drawings and pass the required exam.
• Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control, and production equipment monitoring.
• Ability to perform arithmetic and maintain sustained attention and active listening.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH, Monday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with overtime as needed.
