Pediatric Clinical Faculty (Part Time): Oklahoma

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA; onsite clinical teaching is required.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the course credit hours.

What you will do

• Teach pediatric nursing clinical experiences within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Plan clinical assignments and provide direct supervision of students delivering nursing care to children and families.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical partner policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Grade coursework, assessments, laboratory assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Communicate student and clinical agency issues to the course coordinator and academic leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Oklahoma.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience within the last five years in pediatric nursing or the area of instruction.
• Illinois RN license will be required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
