Maternal Child Clinical Faculty (Part-Time), Oklahoma City, OK

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA; onsite clinical teaching at a clinical partner. The schedule most commonly consists of 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing in clinical settings and implement course objectives, curriculum, and program outcomes.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise nursing students providing care.
• Evaluate student performance, provide documented feedback, and support remediation when needed.
• Prepare clinical assignments, grade coursework and clinical documentation, and maintain timely records.
• Coordinate with clinical agency personnel to follow policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Collaborate with deans, course coordinators, faculty, staff, and administration on program development, student success, and operational improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Oklahoma.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in the instructional area within the last five years.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise, written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to nursing education.
• Willingness to serve as a professional role model and comply with applicable regulatory standards.
