HVAC Building Operator (HVAC)

Location: Onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Hourly rate: $26.81–$48.08 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and air handling units.
• Monitor HVAC and building system performance from the control room and adjust controls for efficiency.
• Respond to service calls, troubleshoot operational and mechanical issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct control-room and mechanical-space inspections while supporting Engineering Watch coverage as needed.
• Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a building trade or related field.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems and large central systems.
• Knowledge of BMS and building automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physical environment.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
