Batchweigher/Mixer Operator (Ink Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Edwardsville, Kansas, USA; 2nd shift

What you will do

• Mix ink batches according to supervisor instructions.
• Provide batch samples to quality control and make directed additions.
• Test and track batch temperatures when required.
• Deliver completed batches to mill staging areas.
• Maintain mixers, including lubrication and blade changes, and report mechanical defects.
• Handle dirty solvent, label solvent tubs as flammable, keep them grounded, and follow required safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least three months of related work experience.
• Good math skills and basic computer skills.
• Detail orientation, reliability, punctuality, and good attendance.
• Flexibility to work overtime and the assigned 2nd shift.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance background and ability to work on multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use required protective equipment.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift experience; training is available.
• Experience with mixing, mills, pumps, or filters.
• Previous ink industry experience.
