Project Engineer

What you will do

• Prepare and review design plans, technical reports, and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
• Lead and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project deliverables and support permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
• Build and maintain client relationships while delivering engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and distribution and collection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, and GIS.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one in Texas.
• Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
