Pediatric Clinical Faculty (Part Time)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, USA; onsite teaching in a clinical setting

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the assigned credit hours.

What you will do

• Teach pediatric nursing clinical courses within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision to nursing students caring for children and families.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Prepare clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade coursework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Coordinate with clinical agency personnel and course leadership on policies, student progress, and issues.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Arkansas.
• At least two years of professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Passion for nursing education and lifelong learning, with strong subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
