Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: Syracuse, NY, USA

Salary: USD 140,000–180,000 per year, plus a profit-sharing bonus target of 10% and a 401(k) match of up to 8%.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach electrical engineers across analog, digital, power, and RF design.
• Create individual development plans and support professional engineering and leadership career paths.
• Provide senior technical guidance on precision circuits, RF systems, signal processing, embedded systems, PCB layout, power supplies, and compliance.
• Review and approve engineering designs, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Lead lean, hypothesis-driven product discovery by developing breadboard MVPs, validating them with customers, and iterating toward production designs.
• Drive Scrum or Kanban practices and collaborate across hardware, software, mechanical, and product functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of electronics engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, RF design, and/or high-precision measurement.
• Experience taking products from concept through production and managing product lifecycle activities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in precision analog electronics design.
• Interest in collaborating with physicists, chemists, materials scientists, software engineers, and mechanical engineers.
