Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time): Jacksonville, FL

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA; onsite clinical teaching at a clinical partner

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach adult health and medical-surgical nursing in clinical settings.
• Plan clinical experiences and supervise students delivering nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Develop clinical assignments and grade coursework, tests, lab assignments, and clinical paperwork.
• Coordinate student and agency concerns with the course coordinator, dean, and assistant dean.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Florida.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
