Materials Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: 6881 8th St, Buena Park, CA 90620, USA; onsite at an hirify.global facility

Salary: $71,000–$85,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage the flow of materials into and out of plants and associated warehouses.
• Oversee purchasing practices, order management, vendor consignments, replenishment, and material delivery strategies.
• Own site MRP processes, purchase order management, inventory levels, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory health reporting.
• Review SAP material master data and maintain accurate records, routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, production, R&D, legal, HR, quality, shipping, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement, TPM, sanitation, 5S, GMP, traceability, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline, or equivalent materials management experience.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated problem-solving experience improving quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Ability to lead or collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite at the Buena Park, California facility.

Nice to have

• Leadership training or demonstrated leadership experience.
• APICS, ISM, or equivalent certification.
• Previous experience in the ink industry.
