Customer Technical Lead (Semiconductor)

Location: San Jose, California, USA; onsite only

Annual pay range: $180,000–$225,000, plus bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Work with customer systems engineers to identify datacenter power challenges and value drivers.
• Define customer-aligned product roadmaps and evaluate voltage regulator approaches for system-level fit.
• Develop proposal collateral and executive-level materials for senior leaders and key customers.
• Support top-tier customer engagements, build consensus, and help convert proposals into revenue.
• Maintain strategic customer relationships and provide early market visibility.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, packaging, applications engineering, and HW/FW/SW teams to execute solutions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of multidisciplinary semiconductor industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree or higher in power engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of power architecture and products for CPUs and high-current ASICs.
• Experience with multiphase voltage regulators or other datacenter power products.
• Understanding of magnetics design, passive component selection, power device driver challenges, and real-world implementation.
• Experience with embedded SoCs and cross-functional HW/FW/SW collaboration, plus strong technical and executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-level modeling tools such as SIMPLIS.
