Field Applications Engineer Leader

Location: Fully remote in the United States; travel up to 35%, including domestic and international travel.

Compensation: USD 170,000–207,000 per year, including a base salary of USD 120,000–145,000 plus commission and profit sharing.

What you will do

• Lead the field applications strategy for Advanced Industry in collaboration with business stakeholders and peers.
• Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing applications engineering team.
• Drive design-win growth, identify new business opportunities, and promote continuous improvement.
• Build senior technical relationships with major accounts and collaborate with account management, product management, factory engineering, and segment leaders.
• Establish customer excellence processes and support tailored technical solutions.
• Use performance analytics and manage the function’s budget to improve results and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• At least 5 years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, industrial HVAC manufacturing, or a related field.
• Ability to understand customer applications, think creatively, and adapt to varied field situations.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel up to 35%, domestically and internationally.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
