Inplant Manager (Sheetfed Ink)

Location: Onsite at a customer's site in Mebane, North Carolina, USA

What you will do

• Maintain the on-site ink room and produce, match, dispense, and provide technical service for inks.
• Manufacture ink batches of up to 150 lbs and perform quality control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches.
• Manage inventory, consignment counts, records, housekeeping, and operational support.
• Act as the liaison between INX and the customer, resolving and documenting technical issues.
• Direct, coordinate, and train INX Inplant Technicians on operational procedures.
• Conduct inplant quality audits and maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in the ink industry and 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Technical service, color matching, ink manufacturing, and quality control experience.
• Ability to pass a color vision test and demonstrate strong verbal, written, reading comprehension, math, and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs and experience with inventory management, record-keeping, and housekeeping.
• Availability to work onsite at the customer's location in Mebane, North Carolina, USA.

Nice to have

• Previous laboratory, in-plant, or warehouse experience.
