Imaging Operator (Digital Print)

Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 12-hour day shift

Salary: $39,520–$64,480 per year; hourly range of $19.00–$31.00

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution variable-print imaging equipment.
• Program, prepare, set up, and release print jobs from the production queue.
• Adjust image position, color quality, resolution, perforations, folds, feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing.
• Monitor printed output for correctness and image quality.
• Maintain production logs and delivery manifests.
• Order printing supplies and maintain inventory levels.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting product quality and production timelines.
• Advanced knowledge of color theory and color correction.
• Excellent knowledge of digital-print file manipulation and file formats.
• Excellent ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing according to job specifications.
• Ability to instruct junior-level operators on corrective adjustments.
