Senior Regional Manager (LIHTC)

Location: Seattle, Washington, USA; candidate must reside in Washington and travel weekly throughout the assigned portfolio.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee assigned affordable housing communities and provide strategic leadership to Regional Managers responsible for additional portfolios.
• Supervise, coach, and develop up to three Regional Managers and oversee hiring, training, performance, and personnel decisions for on-site staff.
• Manage relationships with third-party ownership groups and present operational results, financial performance, business plans, and strategic recommendations.
• Audit resident files, attend inspections and reviews, and maintain compliance with company policies, fair housing requirements, agency regulations, and landlord-tenant standards.
• Monitor property conditions, preventative maintenance, repairs, vendors, budgets, and capital improvement recommendations.
• Analyze occupancy, leasing, rent collections, delinquency, expenses, and NOI; implement action plans to improve portfolio performance and achieve budget goals.

Requirements

• At least five consecutive years of property management experience as a Regional Manager overseeing five or more properties.
• Direct experience with LIHTC and other affordable housing programs in Washington is required.
• Must reside in Washington.
• An active Real Estate Salesperson License in good standing is required.
• Experience preparing and delivering presentations to third-party ownership groups, including financial results, operational performance, business plans, and recommendations.
• Valid driver's license, operational vehicle, automobile insurance, advanced Excel capability, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel weekly across the portfolio.

Nice to have

• Four-year college degree or relevant experience and industry designations in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of Yardi Residential.
