LIHTC Assistant Community Manager (Affordable Housing)

Location: Lacey, WA, USA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $28–$29 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with managing occupancy, maintenance, leasing, and re-leasing for a 164-unit affordable housing property.
• Meet prospective tenants, conduct interviews, process rental applications, and explain occupancy terms.
• Build relationships with tenants, vendors, and property management colleagues.
• Collect and maintain records of rent payments and rental activity, approve invoices, and issue notices for non-payment.
• Handle income recertification and ensure compliance with LIHTC, anti-discrimination, and housing regulations.
• Conduct weekly property inspections, move-out apartment inspections, and prepare activity and condition reports.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of property management experience.
• Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules.
• Knowledge of Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
