What you will do

• Administer and supervise prescribed medications and treatments according to MAR, TAR, federal and state regulations, and company guidelines.
• Count, receive, verify, store, order, and dispose of medications while reporting discrepancies and supply issues to supervisors or the pharmacy.
• Provide personal care and general nursing support, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, eating assistance, vital signs, blood pressure, temperatures, and weights.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, medical charts, admission and readmission records, and complete resident records within required timeframes.
• Clean and restock medication carts, perform weekly deep cleaning, and participate in staff training and in-services.
• Respond to resident calls and needs while coordinating concerns with supervisors and care staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least one month of experience; senior-living experience preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification where required by state regulations.
• Acceptable English proficiency is required for job duties, supervision, employee communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time-management, teamwork, and resident-support skills.
