Certified Med Tech- Per Diem

Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey, USA

Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Administer or assist with the self-administration of prescribed medication under RN supervision.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and written documentation.
• Provide resident care according to individual care plans.
• Protect residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.
• Complete scheduled in-service training and annual medication training.
• Follow federal, state, local, community, legal, ethical, and certification requirements.

Requirements

• Current NJ Medication Aid Certification required.
• NJ CNA or HHA Certification required.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, communicate, hear, and perform fine and gross motor activities.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and properly support residents using safe body mechanics.
