Senior Director, Member Alliances and Services

Location: Sam's Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $130,000–$260,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible Regional Pay Zone compensation.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and performance of Sam's Club's membership renewal rate.
• Develop long-term renewal and retention plans that increase member lifetime value.
• Use data, causal science, experimentation, and member insights to guide decisions.
• Identify renewal-journey friction and lead initiatives that reduce member churn.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Data Science.
• Influence senior leaders and lead high-performing teams focused on renewal growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or 12 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Experience leading retention, membership, loyalty, subscription, or lifecycle strategies at scale.
• Strong strategic planning skills and experience making complex, high-impact decisions.
• Experience using data, experimentation, and causal science to improve business outcomes.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience and 5 years leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, including translating complex analysis into clear action.
