What you will do

• Develop BESS and solar-BESS hybrid projects from concept to Ready-To-Build.
• Originate new project sites and build relationships with landowners.
• Conduct desktop assessments covering land management, planning, and grid considerations.
• Lead and support development activities for projects in NSW, VIC, and TAS.
• Coordinate preliminary engineering design and proposals with internal engineering functions.
• Manage development budgets, schedules, risks, and resource priorities across the project portfolio.

Requirements

• Strong background in renewable energy project development in Australia.
• Experience with land acquisition, planning, and/or grid connection.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to prioritise project deliverables and drive progress across a project pipeline.
• Based in Sydney or Melbourne.
