Associate or Manager, Development (Renewable Energy)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Expected annual base salary: $100,000–$150,000, plus variable compensation.

What you will do

• Identify, manage, and implement early- and mid-stage renewable energy projects.
• Participate in the acquisition of renewable energy assets and identify opportunities in attractive renewable energy markets.
• Negotiate with landowners, permitting authorities, utilities, corporate off-takers, and other counterparties.
• Navigate technical interconnection, permitting, power marketing, and real estate matters.
• Translate complex technical and commercial information into clear financial models while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
• Support recontracting operating assets and/or development of surplus battery energy storage projects.

Requirements

• Three or more years of renewable energy development experience.
• Awareness of technical, commercial, regulatory, and operational issues in renewable energy development.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in any field.
• Strong academic and professional achievement.
