Industrial Maintenance Technician - PLC & Electrical

Location: DeForest, Wisconsin, United States; onsite at the DeForest distribution center

Compensation: USD 35–40 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and related components for functionality, code compliance, and potential hazards.
• Diagnose system and component malfunctions and develop maintenance or repair plans.
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment, and other components.
• Use voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and PLC software to test systems and diagnose conveyor and equipment outages.
• Review blueprints and advise on equipment and component replacement based on lifespan and safety risks.
• Maintain repair, maintenance, supply, and preventive-maintenance records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or related work.
• Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform onsite maintenance work at the DeForest distribution center.

Nice to have

• Relevant electrician certifications.
• Experience with PLCs and other control equipment.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and NFPA 70.
