Industrial Electrician (PLC)

Location: Savage, Minnesota, United States; on-site, night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule

Salary: $38.29–$45.56 per hour, plus overtime availability and a $1.00 night-shift differential

What you will do

• Install and maintain industrial electrical equipment, including 480V single- and three-phase systems, motors, starters, motor controllers, medium-voltage switchgear, VFDs, and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, control devices, power circuits, lighting, switches, and panels.
• Investigate mechanical, operational, and electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Install and maintain motors, fuse boxes, switch panels, control circuits, and related equipment.
• Create and maintain up-to-date electrical circuit layouts and write reports for customers and employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and trade school certification.
• 3+ years of industrial electrician experience and a Journeyman electrician certification.
• Experience with Allen Bradley systems, VFDs, PLC hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4–20 mA circuits, and 440 MCCs.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, and parts lists.
