HSE Manager - LFIP (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and execute the HSE strategy across the Large Format Industrial Packaging segment and multiple sites.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through leadership coaching, engagement and capability building.
• Identify, assess and manage critical operational risks, including machinery safety, LOTO, traffic management, chemicals and working at heights.
• Ensure compliance through audits, inspections, assurance activities and engagement with WorkSafe and EPA.
• Lead the management and investigation of high-risk and notifiable incidents.
• Develop HSE systems, procedures, training programs and reporting for senior leaders.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation.
• Senior HSE leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial or similar environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching and change-management capabilities.
• Experience with HSE management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a similar field.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and continuous-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate qualification in HSE or Risk Management.
• Professional membership such as AIHS.
