Maintenance Technician (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: 640 Shiloh Rd, Plano, Texas, USA; onsite optical manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on optical lab equipment and maintain PM checklists.
• Handle work orders, identify equipment issues, and complete repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Service and maintain edgers, generators, blockers, and other lab equipment and systems.
• Clean equipment, change parts, perform operational checks, and calibrate machinery.
• Assist with equipment installations and fabrications.
• Follow safety measures, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis, and repair.
• Experience with electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo-drive, or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and write English.
• No specific education is required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Optical industry knowledge.
