Automotive Service Advisor

Location: Onsite at 6750 Lincoln Ave., Lincolnwood, Illinois, United States

Salary: $100,000+ annually, base salary plus commission

What you will do

• Greet customers and gather customer and vehicle information.
• Listen to concerns, document service needs, and recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare estimates for labor and parts and explain completed work and associated costs.
• Keep customers informed about repair status and timelines.
• Coordinate service appointments and support timely completion of repairs.
• Collaborate with technicians, parts staff, and other team members to maintain a smooth workflow.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of service writing experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build customer trust.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach to documenting service needs and recommendations.
• Proficiency with computer systems and automotive service software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record covering at least 3 years; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
