What you will do
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of Basic Oxygen Steel Furnace shutdown campaigns.
- Prepare work scopes, resource requirements, budgets, and schedules for campaign delivery.
- Coordinate maintenance activities across multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee shutdown execution to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
- Provide technical support for mechanical maintenance activities during campaigns.
- Review campaign outcomes, respond to maintenance issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Mechanical trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience coordinating maintenance shutdowns, outages, turnarounds, or major maintenance campaigns.
- Experience in heavy industry or a similar industrial environment.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and contractor management skills.
- Experience with maintenance management systems such as SAP, CMMS, or similar.
- Commitment to safety leadership, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and maintenance improvements.
