Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Strahan, Australia; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Lead, coach and support Grounds & Maintenance Attendants at Strahan Village.
• Coordinate and participate in daily maintenance and grounds activities across guest rooms, public areas, grounds and back-of-house facilities.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs for buildings, plant and equipment.
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting, including painting, basic plumbing, mechanical repairs and fixture replacement.
• Coordinate contractors, building projects, renovations and major repairs while maintaining essential-services records.
• Manage rosters, attendance, payroll processes, resources and inventory while promoting workplace health and safety.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in hospitality maintenance, facilities management or a similar role.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Practical knowledge of maintaining buildings, plant and equipment, and coordinating contractors and maintenance programs.
• Strong organisational, time-management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing projects and maintain attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and a proactive, hands-on, practical approach are required.

Nice to have

• Trade, vocational or relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or facilities management.
• Medium Rigid licence, Working at Heights certification or Confined Space certification.
