Service Technician

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; on-site, full-time

What you will do

• Strip, assess, repair, and test mechanical seals, couplings, and associated equipment.
• Schedule repair jobs and complete service documentation, inspection plans, reporting, and compliance records.
• Collect operational information to support material specification for unusual sealing applications.
• Prepare repair quotations and manage related documentation and document-control systems.
• Provide troubleshooting advice, reliability solutions, and support for root cause analysis with technical personnel.
• Attend client visits at oil and gas and mine sites, support business opportunities, and deliver stakeholder training.

Requirements

• Mechanical Fitter by trade.
• Four years of industry experience after completing an apprenticeship.
• Experience with rotating machinery, including turning, drilling, and milling.
• Hands-on experience in reliability enhancement is preferred.
