Product Safety Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Location: Littleton, Massachusetts, USA; onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

Salary: $68,000–$88,000 per year

What you will do

• Test and evaluate products for compliance with U.S., Canadian, and international product safety standards.
• Determine applicable national codes and standards, validate project scope, and assess sample applicability.
• Set up and operate equipment under test, perform simple repairs, and follow established test plans.
• Compile construction review and testing results, prepare final reports, and submit them for approval.
• Communicate project status and test results to clients, sales personnel, and management.
• Cross-train in renewable energy testing, including inverters, battery energy storage systems, and EV equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and provide professional customer service.
• Ability to travel by car and airplane and travel for business needs up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Coursework, project experience, or interest in power electronics or renewable energy systems.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
