Project Director (Hyperscale)

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through data centre project initiation, planning, design, execution, and handover.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams, planning authorities, principal contractors, equipment vendors, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Direct project planning, risk management, cost and commercial management, and quality control.
• Provide culture and safety leadership while maintaining workforce engagement and collaboration.
• Manage multiple projects and sub-projects concurrently and assess budgets, schedules, forecasts, cash flow, and change orders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data centre, mission-critical project, or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of data centre development in NSW, including authority approvals and connections.
• Experience with complex data centre construction methods, materials, building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Leadership experience managing and motivating multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
• Degree or related qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a construction-related discipline.
• Project management certification or experience such as PRINCE2, PMP, or similar, plus proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.

Nice to have

• Experience working for principal contractors or in client-side construction project management.
