Radar RF Engineer (Defence & Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop specialist communications and radar payloads for start-ups, scale-ups, and Tier 1 defence and aerospace companies.
• Create capabilities for air defence, counter-uncrewed aerial systems, non-standard communications, and space situational awareness.
• Design, build, debug, and develop radar circuits and systems.
• Take concepts through early-stage product development toward customer deployment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts across technical projects and client engagements.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in radar design and development, with hands-on experience building and debugging radar circuits and systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a 1st or 2:1 result.
• Creative, hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Curiosity and initiative to investigate new technologies and opportunities.

Nice to have

• Experience modelling and simulating complex RF systems.
• Antenna design, modelling, and testing experience.
• Digital signal processing expertise for relevant applications.
